Your wish is never sent to us
The wish you type is hashed in your browser with a random salt. Only that hash, its paw print, leaves your device. We could not read your wish if we wanted to, and neither can anyone else.
What is stored
For each wish: the paw print, a wish number, the time, the entry it is chained to, whether it was pulled and which way it broke, and the hint if you wrote one. Hints are public by design.
There are no accounts
There is no sign in, no login and no account. We never learn who you are, and we could not tell you which wishes are yours.
On your device
The site keeps a short list of your own wish numbers in your browser so it can highlight them on the wall. That list never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Who else sees it
Hosting is Vercel and the database is Supabase. Both see traffic in the ordinary course of serving the site. We do not sell anything to anyone and there are no advertising trackers.
Deletion
We can blank a hint and we can remove a signature. We cannot delete an entry from the wall, because every later entry is committed to it. That is stated up front so it is never a surprise.
